Spend the day exploring with us in depth the Ribera del Duero Denomination of Origin and three luxury wineries that represent the elite of excellence in this internationally prestigious region. Discover the versatility of the Tempranillo grape variety and a region that, in just a few years, has become the Spanish vanguard of international wine. We offer you this tour where you can get to know in depth wineries such as Abadía de Retuerta, Pago de Carraovejas, Emilio Moro and its Maleollus tasting, Matarromera, Áster, Aalto or Arzguaga, Valduero or Dehesa de los Canónigos.

During the day while touring the beautiful landscape, you will visit three wineries that represent the vanguard of Ribera del Duero both for the quality of their wines and for the technical and economic deployment of their facilities, their machinery, their processes and the environment where they have chosen to settle. Travel by 4×4 vehicle through the vineyards to learn about grape growing and the avant-garde techniques that allow them to face all the challenges of the area such as water scarcity, spring frosts or hail.

We can start the day visiting Abadía de Retuerta, a modern winery with an avant-garde building that integrates functionality, beauty and integration into the territory. During the tour of its facilities we will learn about the cultivation of grapes in a climate as extreme as that of the Ribera, winemaking techniques and aging times. We will finish the tour with a tasting of at least 3 of their best wines.

Then we will visit Pago de Carraovejas or Emilio Moro. We will be able to get into the bowels of these two mythical wineries that are characterized by producing wines that year after year achieve an unparalleled international reputation. We will finish with a commented tasting of at least 3 wines.

The third winery, a classic French chateau-style palace, is located in the middle of endless fields of vineyards. We will learn about gravity winemaking and understand the secret that has led them in 20 years to be at the forefront of modern wines in Ribera del Duero with its more than 80 hectares of own vineyards. Their wine Finca el Otero with its 96 Tim Atkin points has become the flagship of the area, competing in quality and recognition with wines such as Pesús, Vega Sicilia or Pingus. We will eat in the private dining room inside the palace-winery, overlooking the barrel park, served with care and exclusivity by a team of professionals who will make us feel at home and offer us some of the typical delicacies of the region (menu fully adaptable to the dietary needs of each client).
